Responsibilities: To work with columnists to generate timely, opinionated pieces on hot topics in the networking news. Tasks include assigning, editing and scheduling opinion columns and editing letters to the editor. Also responsible for the "Face-off," a monthly one-page, pro/con-type feature.
Past experience: Worked as assistant managing editor for "Micro MarketWorld," production editor for software company McCormack & Dodge, and copy editor at the Journal of the American Meteorological Society.
