Insight Enterprises expanded its InsightCloud Solutions Center portfolio with the addition of cloud communications solutions from 8x8. The InsightCloud Solutions Center aggregates 8x8 business VoIP and cloud-based services and provides a single client portal for ongoing management of subscriptions, features and requirements. Insight has sold more than 3 million business and public sector client cloud seats across the globe.
Commenting on the channel partnership, Bill McCarthy, Insight senior vice president, cloud solutions, said, "With a comprehensive suite of unified communications services, years of strong customer growth and top rankings from analyst firms such as Frost & Sullivan, Gartner and Infonetics Research, 8x8 is a valuable addition to our cloud solutions portfolio."

- 8x8 Virtual Contact Center -- full-featured, easy-to-use hosted call center software solution
- 8x8 Virtual Room -- device agnostic multi-point cloud video solution
When we caught up with 8x8 CEO Bryan R. Martin, he noted that while most of his company's sales are direct, but Insight is one of his 8x8's largest partners and he is excited about the brand they offer.
Martin also shared the latest 8x8 results for the quarter ended in March 2013, touting the company's 32% year-over-year revenue growth. 8x8 currently serves over 32,000 business customers, and the average number of services per customer has also steadily grown.
In 2012, 8x8 was named a market "leader" in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for unified communications as a service (UCaaS) in North America and was recognized as the No. 1 Provider of Hosted IP Telephony by Frost & Sullivan and Synergy Research Group.
