With it, administrators can check on their Office 365 Service Status to check on its health and maintenance status. The app allows filtering information by service subscriptions.

In the Office 365 Technology blog, Office 365 team senior product manager Lawrence Chiu writes that using the app requires an active Office 365 subscription. The individual logging in must have administrative rights.

The downside is that the app doesn’t support Windows Azure Active Directory Multi-Factor Authentication, which complicates secure login.

The app will be available in Apple’s App Store and Google Play “in the coming weeks,” Chiu says.
