Snopes.com ruins a great Steve Jobs/Sean Connery tale

From the It's Too Good To Be True Department

Instinctively, I knew the letter purporting to have been written by Sean Connery to Steve Jobs in 1998 -- and posted on Google+ today -- was almost certainly fictitious.

In the letter, Connery explains that he has no interest in appearing in an Apple commercial and derides Jobs as being a mere "computer salesman."

Snopes.com confirms that the letter isn't real, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth reading.
