In this Google Plus Hangout On Air, I spoke with Derek Manky, North American Threat Researcher for Fortinet, about six predictions his company has made regarding security threats and trends for 2013.

Topics discussed include the continued rise of Advanced Persistant Threats, the cross-platform nature and huge growth of mobile malware, the end of single-password sign on (in favor of two-factor authentication), the rise of machine-to-machine (M2M) exploits, and potential sandboxing exploits.
