Computex: Yes, Taiwan tech shows really are crazier than Vegas ones

From bomb speakers to waterproof tablet computers, this tech show has it all

Our colleagues at the IDG News Service have been sifting through the hundreds of new products being shown at the Computex trade show in Taipei, Taiwan to highlight some of the best, including a slew of new devices powered by Intel's new Haswell processors and a bunch of Android gear.

But what's overshadowing all that? Just plain weirdness:

This scary exhibit features a bomb-shaped speaker, a toy gun and air purifiers. ????

The Alto Saxophone from Lien Cheng Saxophone received an award for being one of the best products at Computex. Why, we don't know.

Violinists selling something or other.
