One time I thought I saw a Cape Cod bridge go down but it turned out to be nothing more than an optical illusion, so I have to question the veracity of these reports asserting that Google - the search engine part of Google - was down for a spell this morning.
I'm going to guess that I spend more time on Google than 99% of Google users and the last time I can recall seeing Google down was ... well, I can't honestly recall ever seeing Google down.
Yet this is from CNN:
Google said it received reports of problems with Google services from users in West Virginia, North Carolina, Nebraska and Georgia.
"However, the issue was quickly resolved and is now over. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our users there," Google said in a statement.
Included among those Google services was Google search, apparently.
Must have been like seeing Bigfoot reeling in the Loch Ness Monster.
