Getting revenge via promoted tweets, $1,000 ... embarassing British Airways for losing luggage, priceless

Hasan Syed got revenge on British Airways for losing his luggage then running him around ... but there was a price tag for revenge ...

I wrote yesterday about what Twitter user Hasan Syed did when British Airways lost his luggage on Monday: He turned to Twitter to vent but he also reached into his pocket and had Twitter promote his tweets to all BA followers. The cost: $1,000 ...

Hasan wound up addressing almost 77,000 Twitter users and being interviewed by CNN.

It will be interesting to see how B.A. handles this or, if their past performance is anything to go by, how they don't.
