Phil Schiller responds to jabs regarding his Batman "Black Night" slip up

Phil Schiller addresses his "Black Night" faux-pas via Twitter

During Apple's media event yesterday, Apple executive Phil Schiller was in the midst of describing the great battery life offered by Apple's lineup of new MacBook Pros. In doing so, Schiller said that one could easily watch the entire Batman series (the Christopher Nolan selection, mind you) from beginning to end on just a single charge. In doing so, Schiller accidentally, albeit quite humorously, referred to Batman as the "Black Night."

And no, Schiller certainly wasn't referring to this forgettable Martin Lawrence title from 2001.

In response to some folks on Twitter who called Schiller out for his faux-pas, the Apple executive has reportedly been direct messaging the following.

Pretty good stuff, and yes, the 'space gray knight' would have been much funnier.
