One of our most popular items of the year is inevitably our Pi Day Celebration slideshow, which we compile from assorted sources, usually a week or so before the day: March 14, or 3.14). But every so often we come across a new Pi item that we just can't wait to share with you, and so it is with this Pi data visualization video that has gained popularity on YouTube in recent days. Without further ado, enthusiastic mathematician James Grimes takes it away, highlighting data visualizations from Martin Krzywinski and Cristian Ilies Vasile:
