A former SysAdmin at the Los Gatos Union School District in California this week pleaded no contest in a 
Merc cites a police report that states that LaForge oversaw the district's VoIP upgrade and that during that process, the gear was removed and placed in LaForge's office at Fisher Middle School. The Merc writes that local police allege that LaForge sold the Cisco equipment instead of keeping them in storage because of his "longtime frustration" with the district's inventory process.
LaForge is currently a programmer/analyst with the University of California at Santa Cruz.
Sentencing is set for Nov. 25.
