Canopy unveiled the pre-production version of its iPhone "touch sensitive" protective case, called Sensus, which moves touch away from the front display. The phone fits snugly in the case, which creates new touch surfaces on the phone's right side and rear panel. A built-in processor meshes the new touches with apps written with the Canopy SDK. At CES, the vendor showed the cases and several proof-of-concept apps, including two games, a draw app, and a Braille app for vision-impaired users. Sensus will fit iPhone 4, 4S and 5 in summer 2013.
