OS X tools you need from Celestial Teapot Software

I love clever software, and today I have a two very clever utilities for OS X from Celestial Teapot Software.

The first is called Fake (Mac OS X 10.5 or later), a tool for automating Web workflows:

Fake is a new browser for Mac OS X that makes web automation simple. Fake allows you to drag discrete browser Actions into a graphical Workflow that can be run again and again without human interaction. The Fake Workflows you create can be saved, reopened, and shared.

Fake is like crossing Safari with Apple’s Automator and is driven by AppleScript.

For a mere $29.95 this is an app you really need.

My second pick from Celestial Teapot Software is Fluid (Mac OS X 10.6 or later) which:

…lets you create a Real Mac App…out of any website or web application, effectively turning your favorite web apps into OS X desktop apps.

Again, sheer genius! For only $4.99 (really, the decimal point is in the right place) you can neatly wrap up those Websites you use all the time and make them look like apps. Brilliant! Moreover, if you craft Websites to stay within the confines of the browser windows (i.e. they are AJAX or HTML5-driven), you have something that really looks like an OS X app.

Express your ‘appiness below, then follow me on TwitterApp.net, and Facebook.
