Voxbone has announced a partnership with cloud voice platform company Alianza that is intended to help service providers deliver new international voice services. The integrated solution will allow service providers to combine Alianza’s Cloud Voice Platform with Voxbone’s VoxDID.
Integration of VoxDID will allow Alianza's service provider customers to order, manage, and provision telephone numbers from over 50 countries, creating virtual number solutions that can enable new regional and national markets for Alianza clients. Voxbone customers will now have access to Alianza’s cloud voice platform, which offers creation and management of residential and business VoIP, SIP Trunking, and mobile VoIP services.
Voxbone is a global wholesale provider, with a customer base that includes Telefonica, Deutsche Telekom, 8x8, NTT, Level 3, InContact, Voxeo, and Skype. Alianza’s Cloud Voice Platform is also a wholesale solution targeting cable, mobile, telco and other broadband providers.
To facilitate the joint solution, Alianza has integrated Voxbone's global DID provisioning and management functionalities via Voxbone’s VoxAPI into Alianza’s web-based administration portal.
Commenting on the partnership in a statement, Kevin Dundon, Executive Vice President of Business Development with Alianza, said, “Our joint solution streamlines the process of delivering next-gen voice services to a global customer base, allowing operators to drive new revenue and reduce churn.”
Hugh Goldstein, Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Voxbone, added, “The need to deliver advanced features and international telecom reachability means service providers are increasingly turning to cloud infrastructure solutions.”
Voxbone also has other cloud-based partnerships in place. For example, last month, Voxbone announced that CallTower had selected Voxbone to connect its cloud-based Microsoft Lync 2013 Service to the PSTN globally. Voxbone will also provide number portability from more than 35 countries to migrate enterprises with a traditional ISDN-based telephone service and PBX to CallTower’s services. CallTower offers cloud-based enterprise-class unified communications solutions worldwide.
