Interop is running all week, here’s a rundown of the conference if you’re attending, or following along from afar.

The conference is running all week at Las Vegas’s Mandalay Bay Convention Center
What people will be talking about:
Interop includes 10 conference tracks, including: Applications, Cloud, collaboration, infosec & risk management; infrastructure; leadership; mobility; SDN (software defined networking); storage and virtualization. There are 125 conference sessions and 26 in-depth workshops over the five days. See the full agenda, including all the session descriptions here.
Who will be there?
Interop expects about 12,000 attendees to the show this year and another 300 exhibitors, including 125 new exhibitors.
Keynotes will be held on Wednesday and Thursday and include a range of technology executives and users, including: Google Senior Vice President for Technical Infrastructure Urs Holzle; Electronic Frontier Foundation’s General Counsel Kurt Opsahl; Adobe SVP and CIO Gerri Martin-Flickinger; Cisco’s Wim Elfrink, EVP of Industry Solutions; Harper Reed, CEO of Modest Inc (who was CTO for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign); and The VP of IT for the Boston Red Sox, Brian Shield. Keynotes will also include two panel discussions, including one on smartphones and another on SDN first steps.

In 2011, Interop celebrated its 25th year, which means this is the 29th year of the show.
