Truly Wireless partners with Bandwidth, ShoreTel Expands in the UK

Truly Wireless has partnered with Bandwidth to offer business users managed calls on their smartphones, moving away from the company’s previous cloud-based communications provider to now integrate with Bandwidth’s network and platforms. Truly Wireless provides a voice platform that is specifically built for a 3G/4G wireless network, enabling business-grade communications services on any smartphone with a cellular connection. Bandwidth owns an all-IP voice network and it has partnered with others including Google, Skype, and Republic Wireless to offer communications features and services.

Enterprises using Truly Wireless can download an app onto any iOS or Android device, sign in with their business account and use the native business-centric calling features. The Truly Wireless team selected Bandwidth to provide core voice technology based on a tested success rate close to 100%, along with Bandwidth’s direct-to-carrier APIs. Truly Wireless offers four tiers of services, with different feature packages starting at $9.00 per user per month.

Commenting in a statement, Erol Toker, CEO and Founder, Truly Wireless said, “As an enterprise product, our customers rank call quality and reliability as their most important criteria for choosing their voice provider. Bandwidth is uniquely positioned to offer this level of access.”

In other news, ShoreTel announced the availability of a cloud UC and Contact Center offering in the UK with its ShoreTel Cloud for Partners program. The new solution is offered through ShoreTel’s UK channel partners. Before the launch, only premise-based ShoreTel systems had been available in the UK; with access to ShoreTel Sky, UK users may now also choose to have ShoreTel solutions delivered from the cloud as a subscription service. Customers can select from different user profiles, including Contact Center, Mobility, and UC, to meet individual business needs.
