I’ve decided to revive the dormant “Geek-Themed Meme of the Week” feature here. The latest winner – of the first-world problems variety -- comes via Reddit and prompted a discussion about the ubiquity of Wi-Fi.
Writes one Redditor: “As a WLAN admin for a college, I actually got this request today.”
Not everyone found the request remarkable.
“It's really not beyond the expectation that nobody would ever need WiFi there,” writes another Redditor. “These days you really just need to assume that anywhere there are people, you will need to put in WiFi.”
Another said he drew the AP line at bathrooms, though.
If you’d like to breeze through the “Geek-themed Meme of the Week Archive,” you can find it here.
