Apple made it too easy on parody video producers, meme generators and comedians this week in announcing its iPhone 7 and 7 Plus smartphones and boasting of its "courage" in ditching the standard 3.5mm headphone jack in favor of a proprietary Lightning one.

Jacksfilms, whose video had racked up more than 400K views as of Thursday morning, goes after Apple and its courage to sell $160 earphones that you need to charge, a typically out-there musical performance by Sia and Apple's special new dongle...

The Challenge accurately pokes fun at the "mini hair dryers" that are the new Apple AirPods...

Funny or Die took its turn as well, highlighting that the "state of the art, wireless AIrpods are stored and charged in a small plastic case called A Plastic Case." This video is a bit on the other side of Family Friendly, so we'll just link to it instead of embedding the video here.

Next up: A parody site promoting a simple but elegant product dubbed Apple Plug ("Apple Plug isn't just a pristine product. It's an essential part of showing others who you are."). Simply fill up that now-useless 3.5mm headset jack on your existing iPhone and you're that much closer to having an iPhone 7.

And finally, we have this very meta video from Above Average, a comedy website with SNL and 30 Rock blood in its veins, that gives you a parody of a behind-the-scenes look at making an iPhone parody video. Balder, Britisher narrator? Check. Faster than ever release of video? Check. Crazy fictionalized iPhones (i.ei., iPez). Check.
