There's no better time to get a new iPhone than in November. Not only have all the kinks associated with iOS presumably been ironed out by then, but Black Friday promotions across a number of big-name retail outlets makes finding incredible deals on Apple smartphones surprisingly easy.
In what's become something of a tradition, many retailers have started publishing their Black Friday deals weeks in advance, presumably so that shoppers can take stock of what's available and plan accordingly. While Black Friday may be more closely associated with finding tremendous deals on HDTVs, it's also a great time to pick up all types of consumer electronics.
This year, we've already seen some awesome iPhone 7 deals advertised, and you might want to keep these places in mind if you're in the market for a new iPhone or if you simply want to buy one as a gift this holiday season.
First off, Best Buy's Black Friday deal for the iPhone 7 is pretty solid. If buyers agree to sign up for installment billing with either AT&T, Verizon or Sprint, they can receive a Best Buy gift card in the range of $250. As for when the sale begins, Best Buy's Black Friday bonanza will kick off on Thanksgiving day at 5 p.m. whereupon stores will stay open until 1 a.m. On actual Black Friday, Best Buy doors will open up 8 a.m.
Not to be outdone, Target has some interesting iPhone 7 deals of its own. Similar to Best Buy, Target is offering users who are eligible for a qualified plan on either AT&T, Verizon or Sprint to receive a gift card with as much as $250 on it. Target stores will be open for Black Friday business beginning at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving day.
