The Compaq ProLiant 6400, a rack-mountable four-way server, earned
the award in the enterprise server category with an overall score of 9.3.
Test Alliance member John Bass, who conducts all of our server testing,
says the combination of strong performance, manageability and serviceability
features, and small form factor, made the ProLiant 6400 a winner all around.
The server beat out two other Compaq boxes and one each from Dell and
Hewlett-Packard for this award.
