Cisco confirms IP phone DoS vulnerability

Cisco has confirmed that its IP Phone 7940/7960 firmware is vulnerable to denial of service attacks. The discovery was made by the Madynes research team at France-based computer research institute INRIA Lorraine. Cisco has made available the latest firmware images.
