A Cisco IPhone app that is worth sharing

An app I stumbeled upon that looks promising

By Avner Izhar on Sun, 10/17/10 - 12:31am.

A small diversion from my usual tech posting, but I thought this will be a helpful knowledge for other Cisco professionals. While searching the app store for something else, I stumbeled upon this app which was described as:

Cisco iPhone Application.
Uncover a new way to interact with Cisco.
The Cisco application for iPhone allows you to:

• Get the latest news and promotional offers.
• Find events and Cisco partners in your area.
• Search for content.
• Play our latest videos or podcasts.
• Receive current security alerts, advisories and responses.
• Find a local phone number for Cisco support.
• Save search results on your iPhone. You can view them later, even when you are not connected to the Internet.

Discover how much more it can do for you

Sounds promising and the screen shots were nice as well:

I just started using it and it looks good, hoping it will serve as a way to consolidate all those newsletters and updates that I have been signing for just to stay on top of things.

Try it and tell me what you think ...
