FBI Memo: Proof of Aliens and Roswell Crash?

The truth is out there . . . An unexpected Office Memorandum showed up in the FBI's Reading Room that seems to refer to the Roswell crash of alien spacecraft.

The truth is out there . . . as X-Files Fox Mulder would say.

We've often looked at government reports that have been kept from the public, only to later discover an agency was busy keeping the truth hidden while stomping on privacy and civil liberties. Today, however, an unexpected Office Memorandum showed up in the FBI's Reading Room.

The memo starts as being recorded by FBI agent Guy Hottel recording a statement for someone whose name is blacked out. It seems to refer to the Roswell UFO incident that many people claim involved flying saucers and alien autopsies.  Hottel wrote that an investigator for the Air Force stated that:

three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico. They were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter. Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only 3 feet tall, dressed in a metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed flyers and test pilots.

It further states that the informant said government "high-powered radar" in the New Mexico area was capable of interfering with the "controlling mechanism of saucers."

I'm somewhat stunned, not having believed in aliens, but always curious about Area 51. It's important to take note of the disclaimer on the FBI Vault website. "Please note, that the information found in these files may no longer reflect the current beliefs, positions, opinions, or policies currently held by the FBI." This memo could simply be a rumor of what was said and recorded. Or it could be fact.

The Guardian recently reported on former Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell who has come forward to say, "alien life does exist and the US government is blocking the information from getting out." Mitchell doesn't come across as flaky since, he holds a PhD in aeronautics and astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was the sixth astronaut to walk on the moon which was the longest moon walk in history. At the X-Conference, Mitchell stated, "We are being visited. It is now time to put away this embargo of truth about the alien presence. I call upon our government to open up ... and become a part of this planetary community that is now trying to take our proper role as a spacefaring civilization."

Mitchell claimed that because he is a hometown boy, having grown up in Roswell, New Mexico, residents have told him eyewitness accounts of alien sightings from the 1947 crash as opposed to never coming forward with the truth. He also says that the residents were "hushed and told not to talk about their experience by military authorities." The military allegedly added that if they told anyone, then they would "suffer dire consequences."

If you believe in aliens and the conspiracy of the Roswell UFO incident, then perhaps this FBI memo will lead to other information and perhaps proof of aliens among us?

The FBI Vault site is full of once-classified documents that have now been made public.
