The first version of the Internal Revenue Service's IRS2Go smartphone app had 350,000 downloads and while that doesn't make it the Angry Birds of the taxpaying set, the new version could be even more popular.

IRS2Go 2.0 is an expanded version of its smartphone app for Apple and Android users that adds a YouTube feature, news feed and tax transcript service in addition to existing tools, such as checking on the status of a tax refund.
