After a decade-long run that those who agree with me consider the funniest in sitcom history, Seinfeld aired its last episode on May 14, 1998. But what if it hadn't? What if it was still on the air today?
Well, that's the premise of a funny new novelty Twitter account called Modern Seinfeld. It's less than 24 hours old and has already attracted more than 28,000 followers. Here's a sample:
Earlier, this entry - "George's parents get Skype" - had me imagining half an episode's worth of hilarity.
The unknown author of the account credits writer/comedian Josh Gondelman for its inspiration, and Gondelman approves, writing on Twitter: "Whoever is doing it is great!"
