Video: Kinect-like sensor used to create photo booth of the future
FanShots kiosk can snap photos and share with user's social media contacts
By Keith Shaw on Wed, 11/28/12 - 9:17am.The next time you're at a Boston Celtics home game in the TD Garden (and if you're lucky enough to get into the Courtside Cafe), check out the FanShots kiosk, a new kind of photo booth. The kiosk uses a Webcam, touch screen computer and a Kinect-like sensor (for depth perception) to take photos of fans and then share them with social media contacts.
