Right now the only safety measure to prevent this virus from spreading is for any website creators, owners, forum moderators or administrators, etc. to go into the programming code for the bulletin boards or message forums and disable all html code, php code, bbc code, etc. on their sites or boards. Or, at least disable linking. Other tags or code could still work, such as text formatting codes, but hyperlinking or text linking can be disabled.
