Not that I don't believe you but....
Can you prove it? I was very surprised that it doesn't exist already. If I worked for NASA or was a company putting a satellite into space for communications, it would've been the first thing that I would've looked into. BUT, some of us techies have no common sense & are arrogant. If you have proof, I would believe you, it's a simple solution. But, as I mentioned, some of us engineers have zero common sense.
The companies don't hire people who think, they hire people who do what they are told to do. Americans are thinking like foreigners used to think and vice versa. "Yankee Ingenuity" seems to be a thing of the past since companys hire based on personality versus potential and open minded thinking.
We need to go back to the basics. After WW2, instead of listening to the best & brightest, we sent them to Japan. And guess what, Japan listened. They still don't typically come up with new ideas, they follow directions and do the best of their ability to complete projects correctly.
If we are going to be the best we need to use our best and trust them with their ideas.
