Unfortunately, that wasn't a response, more like a prayer. Their hope is that Microsoft won't make it cross platform? Man, that should really make their stock holders feel safe.

Let me read the tea leaves. Microsoft will make a good enough cross platform version, and developers will jump all over it to deliver content and applications. Then Adobe will be left with the 10-15% of Microsoft haters as customers.
