Like everything in life
Like everything in life offshoring to has its pitfalls i agree. At the end of the day whats good for the consumer is good for the organization. Think a million times before you go ranting about any country mindlessly.
Indian CIO's/CEO's do not need body guards. Its a democratic country and has been so since indians managed to uproot the british. Indians do have a niche today on the cheap labour front which may not be so down the line. So just give them a break.
Finally, india does have it fare share of woes and does have to deal with terrorism. Gawd damn it, the americans got caught with their pants down on 9/11. So give the poor indians a break!!!. They are just trying to survive.
