Rick, I'd completely agree with you and this was actually my first thought too. However, the military officials quoted specifically stated that the decision was made based on bandwidth issues. Not security issues----if they were based on security issues, they ought to have had the temerity to indicate it. We're all aware of the risk after the stunts of certain embedded journalists over the past few years.
In all sincerity, I'd like to thank you for your service to our country and say I'm glad you made it back home.
