From what i've heard; Macs
From what i've heard; Macs are being supported. As long as you can connect through a/b/g/n you should be fine.
I am currently a student and must say the network had its hiccups in the beginning ( but what large tech deployment does not!!!) but since they've been ironed out the network has been fast, reliable, stable and most of all pleasing at 1am when the infomercials are on and you want to watch a streaming movie or something.
Something to note quickly; to the people wondering why we need about 900 APs... we are a campus of almost 3500 students (not 1800!) so the AP to student ratio raises to 3.8 about... so there are 4 people for every access point. Also for those who have not gone here; our campus is very big... and VERY rural! We have a large equine program with barns around 3-5 miles out, and there must be wireless connectivity there as well. Also our sister campus Norwich also is getting wireless. So don't always think about the number of users... think geographic locale, and size of the campus.
Thanks!! Keep at it mo'ville!
