User awareness and support guys training
From my experience, I've found that the computer-support guys don't have the needed skills to observe and clean bots infected machines. Training, books, attending seminars are good to level up their knowledge. Also user awareness, is very important to fight malwares (including bots), because they are the targeted victims. Clicking on links, downloading files, and believing the lies in spam emails, are the main reasons behind the increased numbers of infected computers in the Internet. Awareness sessions, and policy enforcement should lower the infections.
