Everyone is banking on the next best security box to solve all their problems but it's basic security 101 stuff that keeps systems and data safe. Firewalling is important and if executed properly mitigates the need for all the other extraneous technologies and devices. But, since technology magazines and consultants are paid to promote all the gadgets, we can expect the unending diet of complex and expensive solutions to continue.
