Sisyphos Or Hercules?
If the task were Sisyphean, the respondents would be working relentlessly but they'd all be failing each time, succumbing to attacks with predictable, monotonous, and catastrophic results. Poor Sisyphos could never, ever succeed.
It appears that some efforts are successful. Would those efforts then be better characterized as Herculean?
And does a classical education really matter?
I wouldn't know. I was a soc major at a cow country uni. Perhaps that's why Hercules comes to mind - cleaning them durned stables.
At any rate, this kind of security effort is hard work with a lot at stake. Thanks for the article.
