First you set up an interoperability lab with Novell and next thing you know you're best buds with Sun and Sun is promising to begin selling, supporting and pre-installing your operating system in all of its server hardware. That's what has been happening to Microsoft this week. That's a far cry from when Sun's Scott McNealy couldn't resist throwing jibes at Microsoft. But now, the two companies will work together in a lab on Microsoft's Redmond campus on virtualization interoperability as well as customer support issues.
