Cisco's 122nd acquisition, and its first of its fiscal 2008 year, is that of privately held Cognio, a maker of spectrum analysis and management systems for wireless networks. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of FY08. Cognio makes products that help identify and reduce radio frequency interference in corporate wireless networks. The company will be integrated with Cisco's Wireless Networking Business Unit.
