Gartner Magic Quadrant
The Nortel Executive was referring to the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications in 2007. The ranking has Nortel in the leadership quadrant in the lead. Cisco fell back to a challenger position. This is not the same as the ranking for telephony. UC is a newer space of which telephony is just one component.
