Irony in marketing terms

0

Actually, both Web 3.0 and Web 2.0 are marketing terms. Web 2.0 was created as a term for a series of conferences. The term has technically been trademarked by CMP MEDIA LLC.

Sometimes these terms serve to only muddle conversation by people wanting to use the latest buzzwords rather than actually promote an understanding of blogs or sites like Facebook.
