Stick with Riverbed for application acceleration. They are the best of breed solution in my opinion. I work as an engineer for a Cisco partner and we are also partnered with Riverbed, because they have the best WAN optimization technology for now. I have a lot of comparison data on all the competitors if anyone is interested. Forrester, Gartner, etc...
