I hope you are getting a good discount on Smartnet since any items you have purchased from your "independant" reseller may not be supportable and may need to be relicensed.
As for fake gear - how do you know you haven't ever encoutered any - they are counterfeit ie. look like real one's only without the performance and support of genuine Cisco products.
Why don't you ask Cisco to come and audit your network for you - who knows they might help you to find some "fakes" or possibly unlicensed product :-)
