Microsoft Exchange / Outlook / Sharepoint / MS- Office
These apps are more intuitive to use than Notes / Domino.
I was a user of all of the apps mentioned in the article and I personally never liked cc:Mail and I never liked Notes. Coporate tried to force it on all the users across the country but it eventually lost out to MS-Exchange.
Aside from my own personal preferences, I supported 500+ users in a 3 city region (Dallas/Houston/San Antonio) and the general consensus from the user base is that it pretty much sucked. Switching to Microsoft made it easier to support and manage.
We had a few diehard users back when Lotus 123 was king but Excel won them over eventually and cc:Mail and Lotus Notes went the way of the Dodo Bird. Why are we even discussing this??? LOL
