Exchange 2007 vs IBM Lotus Notes.
Hi all,
This IBM & Microsoft Battle seems never to be over. Both of them has its own pros and cons. I have looked over one of the comparisons posted at www.itcomparison.com at
IBM Lotus Domino 8 vs MS Exchange 2007 It discuss the pros and cons of both products. From what I see it seems IBM are offering lot more in their product, but you have to really dig in when comparing not look at the surface. IBM is offering a lot of free add ons with their Domino that Microsoft is charging an arm and leg for the equivalents. It seems Microsoft is lucky as most companies are looking at the initial cost and less look deep enough at the TCO. I believe Domino do a lot better sense when you look at TCO. The comparison linked to my reply help understanding why Domino do better at TCO.
