The problem is much deeper actually - there is no use of trying to protect yourself against spyware only as all the malicious software is connected i.e. viruses contain trojans, that contain different kinds of spyware, malware, etc and vice-versa. So the PC protection should consist of threee parts: firewall, antispyware and antivirus.
