The idea "Ron Paul" spread across the Internet a long time ago, where real people at individual computers decided to back him. Now as with any zeitgeist (Online cultural no different) it will attack you or support you if you ever mention Paul, quite like being a white guy and saying the "N" word does in real life. Same difference, its not spam its a online paradigm shift that your ignoring.
