It is simple for the simple minded to dis someone for actually doing something which is ALSO important to those of us who have the mental ability to make choices.
For those who do NOT care about things such as sports, etc, they whine and weepily wring their hands to make themselves seem important.
The ONLY small place in which they seem important is in their own little single celled minds.

As an American and a veteran, I am GLAD that Kerry has done this.
Not everything a politician does is for political reasons.
I wonder whether any of the haters here has ever had a conversation with Kerry or any other sen or rep who has done something like this.
Maybe, just maybe he's a fan.
I know, I know, that's way too hard for you to comprehend.
