This is a fair point, though not very nicely put. This story was written for a print magazine (CSO) several months ago. When they publish their copy, it gets put into the IDG database and then published on our sites. It wasn't intended to be a news story, although I'm pretty sure that a lot of people probably don't have know Second Life like you do.
