FixMBR??
Hmm, I wonder if FixMBR would still work - I just stumbled across a 1993 version the other day while doing one of my rare file clean-ups. Either way, as someone else noted, it's easy to clean: just wipe the MBR, the first track if need be, and use one of the scan utilities to reconstruct the MBR. BootitNG's Partition Work utility works well for me - no I'm not associated with TeraByte but I use their stuff and it's saved my err, skin a couple of times.
