I couldn't agree more. When I read the article heading, my first thought was "Did MS fund this review?"
In a degree of fairness to MS, it is a bit hard to compare Linux to Windows since it is very difficult to delineate the OS from the 3rd party apps in Linux. In some camps, only the kernel is "Linux". In others, it is considered the entire distribution. Just the same, if you are considering the entire distribution, you have to consider the sheer amount of functionality that is possible. If you packed a Windows OS with applications that gave a comparable scope and variety of options, it would be a very different comparison.
