Congratulations to Cisco Subnet blogger Michael Morris for passing the Cisco Certified Design Expert written beta exam that he took last September! Morris, a technical team lead and network architect at a $3 billion high-tech company, says the written exam is tough and that Cisco is expecting a 30% pass rate. The practical exam is expected to go into beta in June with general availability slated in November. The written exam is in general availability now. Are you going to go for it? Read Michael's take on the CCDE written test and the CCDE program in general here. See also: Cisco provides further details of Cisco Certified Design Expert program.
If you passed the test - or didn't - we'd love to hear from you. We'd also love to hear your thoughts on the test in general and your hopes for the CCDE practical.
